Tickets will be released to EOIs first before opening up to the rest of the membership base.


The following details have been confirmed for Competitors:

  • The 2022 Rules & Regs for both competitions will be used
  • Tempesta Machine and VA MY75 Grinders are confirmed for Barista Championship
  • The Mazzer ZM Grinder will be used for Brewers Cup Championship


The competitions will run as follows:

It will be a WCC style Nationals

  • One OPEN heat all will be able to enter from around the country (uncapped numbers - although we may need to limit Brewers subject to uptake)
  • One Semi Final (The Top 12 from open heat)
  • One Final (The Top 6 from semifinal heat)
  • The winners will go onto Athens in June to represent Australia.

Our plan is to run 2 Brewers Cup Stations and 1 Barista Station on stage (with a practice station off stage) this is subject to change.


We will be Livestreaming the Finals day in its entirety as per usual with a first-class production (Master chef quality) with a slightly scaled down version for open and semis rounds due to budgetary restraints.
