Get excited! ASCA is pleased to announce the 2024 season of competitions.
Competitions will kick off with Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters with the top 12 from each discipline moving through to nationals being held at a later date in Melbourne (dates/venue TBC). There will be NO REGIONALS for competitions this season for Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters - every region will need to compete in this feeder competition.
There will be no regionals for Latte Art and Barista as these will be held at nationals.
Registrations will open Thursday 19 October 2023 at 12:00 PM AEDT and will close on Friday 3 November 2023 or until sold out (whichever occurs first).
There are 48 places available for Brewers Cup and 40 places for Cup Tasters.
Venue: Seven Miles - 75 Kenneth Rd, Manly Vale NSW 2093
Dates: Friday 24th of November 2023 - Cup Tasters and Judges Calibration
Dates: Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of November 2023 - Brewers Cup (Open Service)

IMPORTANT JUDGES INFORMATION
Judges will have to undertake calibration on Friday 24th of November 9am-5pm.
Judging is not automatically guaranteed - it is earned at Calibration Day.
IMPORTANT COMPETITOR INFORMATION
Entry for competitors will be on a first come first served basis.
Entry cost is non refundable.
As numbers are limited any competitor found registering a spot and subsequently pulling out, will be banned from entering competitions for 2 years (unless extenuating circumstances can be proven)
ASCA 2024 Australian National Coffee Competitions
The 2024 Nationals will take place in February 2024. Dates TBC
The location will be in Melbourne TBC.
They will feature the following:
Barista - Semi Final (capped open field) and Top 6 Final
Latte Art - Art Bar (capped open field) and Top 6 Final
Registration for Barista and Latte Art will open the 27th of November 2023
Brewers Cup - Top 12 (Compulsory Service) and Open Service Top 6
Cup Tasters - Top 12 Semi Final and Top 6 Final
CIGS - Final will be held in Melbourne (March/April) TBC
Roasting Competition - Will be held in Melbourne (March/April) TBC
Registration for CIGS and Roasting Comp will open the 1st of December 2023
